Hi, I ran across your request for information on strange light sightings. I saw the strangest thing I've ever seen last night in the sky. It was a circle like formation of amber colored lights in the sky. Very bright and high in the sky. These lights did not flicker, were all about the same brightness, and did not move. After about of minute of watching them they just disappeared. It was Friday, September 18th at 9:45 pm. I seen them in from South Lyon, Michigan. You are welcome to call me if you wish.

London, Ontario Meteor Sighting With Lime Green Hues

Time: Evening.

Hi, I was just reading the blog about the meteor on the 25th, my children and I seen the same thing with the lime green hues. It was beautiful. My son was terrified, he thought for sure this was a real sign of danger and took me a while to calm him. (We are located on (location removed) street off Fanshawe and we were facing east.)

Hi Brian, Yes, we are in London Ontario. (location removed) is in-between Adelaide and Highbury, off Fanshawe in the north end (Stoneybrook area). UFO Stops And Moves Quickly Off In The Skies Above Bothwell, Ontario

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

On Sunday the 13 of September at around 10:00pm, my son and I were out on are back deck. My son noticed something in the sky doing strange movements. He showed me where it was in the sky. We watched this thing stop and stay in one place then move very fast one way, then stop and move a different way. This object was up pretty high, around 20 to 30,000 feet. It had a blinking red light and a very bright light at the back. This was unbelievable the way this thing would stop and jet across the sky in seconds. This was not a jet or any man made thing (plus I'm a jet buff). After around 2 minutes of watching this thing move around the sky, it stopped once again for a few seconds then disappeared at a angle upward.

Northern Virginia A White Missile Or Cigar Shaped UFO

Hi, I just found you using search terms because this evening at around 7:00pm in northern Virginia area America I saw the same thing, white with no wings, missile shaped or cigar shaped.(just like airplane without wings) My husband and I both saw it. It was an unusually clear day, no clouds and very calm with no wind. This UFO had no sound. Have you learned anything else? I forgot to say the most important thing, There were two of them and as soon as one disappeared behind house and out of view, another came in the exact same path.

Penetanguishene Ontario Blinking Object

On Friday night (September 11, 2009 9:45), I saw a star right above a park behind my house "that star wasn’t there before", so anyways I kept watching it. It was blinking red, purple, green, blue, and white then last night (September 12, 2009) I didn’t see it in the sky, so tonight (September 13, 2009 9:57) my parents were in the hot tub and saw it in the sky again just this time it was blinking red 3 times then white once and it seemed closer but I was just hovering like a star, though there where no stars around this one because the sun was just setting.

Parkend Gloscestshire England UK Bright Orange Lights

Hi Brian, I have notice all these sightings of bright orange lights over the UK that have been spotted. Here is what we saw on the 4-09-2009 at approximately 22.05 hours me my wife and our neighbour witnessed the event- the night sky was completely clear and little to no breeze when I notice a flying object bright orange in colour and sphere shaped come from behind the tree line from behind the tree line ( I was standing in are back garden ) my neighbour came rushing out of her house as she had noticed it from her window.

UFO - Triangular Lights Stationary West Of Bowen Island British Columbia Canada

Hi Brian, I happened to have read your piece for May 16, 2009 and have been previously unaware of your research.

A few years back, there were a few triangular lights (3 arranged in a triangle) "parked" over some islands just west of Bowen Island B.C. It was around 10:00 on a Friday evening. We were observing them with a telescope as my friends' house is on the west side of Bowen and they regularly look at ships with their living room tripod/telescope.

Woodbridge, Ontario Light From UFO Seen Through The Clouds

Time: Evening.

I'm a resident of Woodbridge Ontario and I just had my first UFO sighting of my life. I am 100% sure of what I saw tonight.

I was walking with two of my friends behind a dark shopping complex around midnight tonight (partly cloudy). In the corner of my eye I noticed a small flash coming from the sky. When I looked up I saw two white lights, not bright by any means, but I could see them quite well. I noticed them moving very fast and moving closer together and then further apart almost like it was turning on an angle. It then moved above the clouds (I could still see the lights through the cloud) and then disappeared.

Pilots Watch A Deep Orange Glow Rising From The Lake (UFO)

Hi Brian: We have emailed a few times back and forth and I want you to know where I am coming from. My name is (name removed), I am 42 years old now. Ever since I was a young child, before I knew anything about this, I had dreams of what I thought were skeletons coming through my basement and meeting me. Now I have a older brother (9 or 10 yrs older) and had an experience as a child. He was 15 or 16 and he asked me to spend the night in his new room in the basement. All I can remember is how apprehensive I was and only lasted a couple of hours. The feeling of the "skeleton" creatures coming for me were very much real. Fast forward now a few years, and well the vivid dreams I had were not skeletons but, well small entities with big dark eyes or areas were eyes should be. Now to put all this into perspective, My educational background is that of a law enforcement. I have a solid education in investigation techniques, evidence collection and interviewing.

Hi, Hope this finds you well. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, it is Football season and my son plays for (removed) so my wife and I "tramp around the northeast" this time of year!

Well a little background. My dad was Chief of the FAA office in Presque Isle. All the guys there were electronic techs and were responsible for navigational aids and some other equipment such as teletype machines at NOAA and Loring AFB. The nav-aids included the Presque Isle instrument landing system, PQI VOR and TACAN which were (and still are ) located in the middle of a potato field in Washburn, Me. This VOR equipment is considered one of the most important nav-aids in the States because it is the first or last an aircraft uses. Loring aircraft and any other military aircraft use the TACAN and it too is the first or last site in the USA. Ok now the boring is out!

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, lost your e-mail, please contact me. I had no idea you also had a place here for Bigfoot sightings! I've also seen "Bigfoot" and his family a number of years ago. I'm 42 now and I was about 12 then, with my two older brothers (14yrs.and 18). We were swimming in the Yough River just across from our home around 2:00pm in the summer. The whole river was no higher than maybe up to my waist and remember I was about 12, so it was pretty shallow. Long story short, I'm in the water with one brother, our oldest brother was just a little bit away on the shore. We were looking downstream and saw a huge hairy creature, maybe 7-7.5 feet tall and one a tad bit smaller and two small ones, maybe my size. The big one picked up this huge boulder out of the water and lifted over his head, with arms stretched as far as they could be.

UFO - York County Pennsylvania Unusual Lights Turned In Unison To A Horizontal Position

Hi, I don't know what we saw tonight, but I am very much in shock! It was about 8:30 pm York PA. My daughter saw bright lights out the living room window and went to
the door. She called me saying "what is that?!" No sound at all.

When I went to the front door, there were two lights in a vertical position with space between them, but not a lot. Considering the distance in the sky, I would estimate maybe the length of a tractor trailer, but to the eye in looked much closer.

Naugatuck, Connecticut Bigfoot Or Something Else ?

Time: 1:30 or 2:00 a.m.

Message: I don't want to sound fanatic and hopefully there is a good explanation to all this. I live in Connecticut and not sure what I heard last night at approx. 1:30 a.m. The backyard of my home faces the woods. My backyard is several yards from a sharp ravine that slopes down to into the woods and to a stream. Not too far from the stream is a reservoir located in a wooded area. With my window open last night, I heard what was like a whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop sound coming from the woods in the back of my house. At the same time, I heard a loud pitch screeching noise more near my house that nearly shook me out of bed. It seemed liked the screeching sound was closer to my home than the whooping sound. I know the woods could house many wild animals due to the stream in the back.

One Famlies Ghost Encounters

Hi Brian, We have a couple of ghost stories amongst my family members and my husband and I.

1. When my Mother was a child, her my Grandmother used to chastize her for throwing a ball up and down the stairs leading to the second floor of the house. My Mother wouldn't stop it, and she stood at the top of the stairs and let the ball drop so it would bounce down the steps. My Grandmother appeared at the foot of the stairs before the ball arrived and all of a sudden it bounced back up the stairs to my Mother. My Mother was a mere child, I wasn't even thought of then, but it freaked her out so much that she told my Sister and I this story when we were youngsters.

Ghostly Presence Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi Brian. Seems like Halloween will quickly be upon us. I don't know if you are planning to invite people to write into you re. any ghostly or unusual happenings again this year but a few days ago I recalled an incident which happened to me back in the mid 70's I believe either the summer of 75 or 76. I thought I'd sent it to you a few years back but don't see it listed. I know I did send it to the late Graham Conway and he was kind of interested, but that was all that came of it.

Summer 1975 or 76, approx: 4:05 a.m.

At the time I was working as the security supervisor on the graveyard shift in Pacific Center Mall located in downtown Vancouver, BC. We used to rotate positions each hour. I had just been relieved at the security desk at 4 am and headed out into the mall. At that time of the night the mall was usually deserted so as I passed Holt Renfrew I stopped to admire a jacket which they had on display. The price appeared to be $40. So I had been contemplating coming back on payday and purchasing it.

Sasquatch Tracks Found At Chilliwack By The Lake

Sighting took place on the July 25, 2009 weekend.

Hi there, I have read some of your notes and find them very interesting, especially now. A few of my friends just came back from Chilliwack by the lake and had spotted what appears to be the footprints of Sasquatch, as well as having quite a trying time all night. Apparently there were approximately 4 of them, they were loud (making rustling noises and walking through the campsite) and at one point, when trying to get outside, one brushed across one of them that were still in the tent.

UFO Over Phuket Thailand

Hi, I wanted to report that in 1997 I think I saw the UFO in Thailand as well while I was in Phuket.

Just now, I was watching the documentary on Discovery Science about the 1997 Phoenix UFO sightings, and what was weird about it was the date. Because when I saw that UFO in Phuket, it was in 1997 as well. I remember the year and approximate date because it was on my first visit to Thailand, but I forgot the exact date.

London Ontario A Large Fiery Object - Meteor

Tonight around 9:00 p.m. I was walking east on Dundas street at Wellington and stopped in the middle of the road as I saw this very large whitish fiery light coming straight down towards the earth. I put my hand to my mouth and said "oh my god, oh my God".

UFO - Clovis, New Mexico UFO Ex Air Force Serviceman Talks About What He Knew

Date: January 1976

My next door neighbor and I also had some involvement with the Clovis UFO. I also knew Steve Muscato, the photographer who took the original picture for the local newspaper. His photo is of the stationary object that hung directly over Clovis for several days. I believe it occurred over quite a few days. There was one stationary light, in addition to other moving objects that many people saw. Plus, there was a photo in the paper of a mystery object found in a field. At the time, I was 14 years old. My next door neighbor Bob was an Air Force electronics technician who was an amateur ham radio operator and amateur astronomer. He and I spent a night on the top floor of the Hotel Clovis observing the UFO hanging in the sky. He used some sort of equipment to determine how high in the sky the stationary object was.

Family Ghost Story From The 1940s Onward - British Columbia, Canada

Hi Brian, I will send you a separate email so you know who this story is coming from. I noticed your category for ghost stories and thought I'd add a bit to your collection. However please be forewarned, it is not dramatic. No chains or moaning! More like just an unusual family member.

My family has always had ghosts. As a young boy living in Vancouver and Alert Bay my father sometimes saw people who were not there and my mother once watched a group of people disappear right in front of her. She was 15 years old and walking down a street near her home in Vancouver. Coming towards her on the sidewalk but on the next block, was a group of about a dozen people. The first thing she noticed was their odd clothing, very old fashioned. She then realized that although they appeared to be talking and laughing there was no sound of voices or of feet on the sidewalk. They reached the corner of their block and turned down the side street just before my mother reached the end of her block. She looked around the corner and although they should have been just a short distance away there was no sign of them. For people who live in Vancouver this was in the Kits area around 4th and happened about 1930.

Laceby North East Lincolnshire England A Bright Glow Of Orange And Red Light

I got your e-mail and name off an earlier piece of news regarding a sighting in Grimsby. I had to tell someone in authority of the sighting that me and my wife and granddaughter experienced this evening. At exactly 19:55 hrs we were all sitting in our conservatory, when I noticed a bright glow of orange and red light through the Connie roof . Within seconds, all three of us were outside and witnessing an object (although too dark to make out any shape or features) carrying this very bright orange/red light and travelling in an easterly direction in a perfectly straight line. It was travelling at about the speed of a helicopter, but there was no sound at all, not any rotor noise or engine noise.

Adak Island, Alaska Military Personal Watches UFO Hovering

Location Information: Adak is an island midway along the Aleutian Island chain southwest of mainland Alaska at 177 degrees west. At 52 degrees north it is not exactly arctic, nor is it temperate; but it is nearly always buffeted by cold, wet winds. Most of the wind is generated by an endless series of cyclonic storms. The weather report for aviators almost never varies: Winds 25-40 gusting to 60, mostly cloudy with layers at 800 feet, 1200 feet, 2000 feet. Visibility 7 miles, rain. Temp 40 degrees F (plus or minus 5 degrees for most of the year). It is bounded on the east and the west by volcanoes. To the west is Kanaga Volcano, a beautiful perfect cone, and to the east by Great Sitkin, which nearly always is at least smoking and erupted in the early 1970's.

Brian Vike, The Vike Factor had a nice telephone conversation with an ex-serviceman by the name of Art. Art was stationed on Adak Island Aleutian Islands and was part of the crash crew for the fire department. One late night in January 1976 at the airport, the control tower personnel rang the crash crew and told the members that an aircraft was going to be landing. The crash crew members jumped up and peered out the window and did not see an airplane of any kind, but rather a glowing object approximately 50 feet across. (Art told me it was the brightest light that he has ever seen in his life)
