Time: Evening.I too saw this white ball floating through the night sky last night. We were having a campfire in the back yard, when my children and myself witnessed this. We thought maybe it was the Space Station or a meteorite. It moved slower than a jet, but had no sound. Would love to know what it was. We live in a small town called Mantua, Ohio. Northeast Ohio.

It was winter of 1977. NE Ohio. Ashtabula County. Early Am. I was driving home with my sister when we saw large blue-green (maybe more of greenish color) spherical shapes floating in the sky. These were very low and very bright...only maybe 5 feet off the ground. We were driving through dark deserted country roads to get home. We were so scared. We did not know what they actually were. I slowed down so as not to hit them. Did not know if should actually stop. Too scared. Drove very slow as these huge round masses slowly floated in front of us and just popped and disappeared like a bubble. There were about 10 to 15 of these. I just turned 18 and had my younger sister in car, who was then 16. We were very scared, so when these large blue-green glowing masses passed, I drove like a maniac to get home. When we got home to our parents house, my Father also had noticed the very same floating masses. He said they also slowly floated past the house, as he looked in amazement through the windows. This was extremely scary and I am not sure to this day if we ever reported. We have told this story for years and was only last night that I have actually looked such sighting up on the internet.
